An 88-foot-high lion's head is found at the entrance to the MGM Grand Las Vegas, officially named the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. There's also a Grand Pool Complex, complete with lush tropical landscaping, five pools, a meandering river, and several picturesque bridges, fountains, and numerous waterfalls.

With over 5000 deluxe rooms and suites, this large, modern complex is a great place to stay, right on the Strip. And the rooms are among the largest that you'll find in Las Vegas. Even the standard rooms (in the Grand Tower) are about 450 square feet in size and are equipped with a large, black and white marble bathroom and tastefully decorated bedroom. The MGM Grand Las Vegas offers a variety of grand entertainment, including the brilliantly acrobatic and energetic "KA Cirque du Soleil" show. "La Femme" is an adult-oriented show that features showgirls from the original Crazy Horse in Paris. "Studio 54" reincarnates the legendary New York nightclub. The rather intimate Hollywood Theatre presents such legendary headliners as singer Tom Jones, magician David Copperfield, and comic Howie Mandel.
